Customer Service Policy

Murphy's Pet Supplies is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavor to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-10 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder, or a full refund.

Murphy's Pet Supplies is committed to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable), and to personalize your shopping experience with us; that's all.

Cookies sent to your computer from Murphy's Pet Supplies only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Placing Your Order

By placing an Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms of Use. No information on our website constitutes or should be deemed as an offer by us to supply any Products; however, we will make every effort to supply products to you.

We will notify you that sending you an Order Confirmation & Tax Invoice via email is processing your order; however, we do not formally accept your offer until your order has passed our internal processes.

We will confirm acceptance of your order when we send you an email confirming the shipment of the goods you have ordered. If we cannot process or accept your Order after payment is received we will contact you by email and/or telephone.

If we are unable to contact you (we will email and call in all cases so please ensure you supply the correct contact information) or if we leave a message and we don’t hear back from you by the time required to send your order (which is determined at the discretion of sales assistant based on our knowledge of shipping times and your required delivery date), we reserve the right to accept part of your offer (i.e. supply only part of the order). If this occurs we will refund the part of the order, not the supplies. If you selected regular post to ship your order we will not refund the postage as it is a fixed rate however if you selected express post to ship your order we will refund the incremental shipping cost incurred by you for these items which will appear on the packing slip included with your order.

Your information is stored in an encrypted database and we do not store your credit card details. If you want to add to your order or require a refund we will be required to get your credit details again since we do not store them.

Payment Of Your Order

Murphy's Pet Supplies are aiming to make your shopping experience as pleasant and as secure as possible with all payments being processed securely.

When purchasing by card you will be asked at “Checkout” to provide;

The Expiry date,

The Name on the Card, and

Card Verification Number.

A direct Debit facility is available through bank transfer to Murphy's Pet Supplies Westpac Shepparton BSB 033254 Account Number 498479. You must use your surname as the reference in this form of transaction.

Once your payment is processed your order will be packed and despatched as soon as possible.

Delivery Of Your Products

Shipping Methods

We will only be shipping Australia wide with two options for you to choose from through Australia Post or alternately self-arranged courier pick up.

The Australia Post shipping options available to you are;

It must be noted Australia Post or private courier companies' do not work on weekends or public holidays unless otherwise advised.

What Happens If I Am Not Home When My Parcel Is Delivered?

If a delivery is made when you are not home, the parcel is taken to your local post office to await collection. You have usually left a note from the delivery driver to advise which local post office it was taken to but if you are unsure you can track your parcel by logging in at www.austpost.com.au/tracker (The Australia Post will send you a note if the parcel is unclaimed and if it remains unclaimed for 3 consecutive weeks they send it back to us. If this happens we will not be able to refund the postage on your order. You may specify for the postman to leave the parcel somewhere for you, please note that if you request us to do this and the parcel goes missing after the post office advises they have delivered it, we do not take responsibility for the lost parcel.

What happens if my parcel is lost? A third party provides all our delivery options however it is rare that a courier company or Australia post lose a parcel. As delivery is provided by a third party for your convenience, we cannot accept responsibility for a lost parcel however we really want you to have a great party
